Terea is the name of the tobacco sticks that have been created for use alongside the IQOS Iluma kit and IQOS Iluma One heated tobacco devices. As these tobacco sticks are heated by the device they release an inhalable vapour containing nicotine and the taste of real tobacco. However, as they don’t reach temperatures high enough to cause combustion, they’re not burned, which means that they don’t produce any ash, tar or smoke - the technology used for this is called ‘heat not burn’ technology.
