IQOS Terea

Terea are the very heart of the IQOS Iluma heated tobacco experience - designed using a blend of high-quality tobacco to provide the user with a genuine tobacco taste as well as bladeless ‘SMARTCORE’ heating technology with a small metallic blade located at the centre of each stick. They’re a cleaner and more efficient choice that eliminates the need for maintenance as well as mess and residue.

Terea sticks are single-use and disposable, maintaining the convenience and ease of IQOS heated tobacco products. They’re also made to last for approximately the same amount of time as a traditional cigarette, which is the equivalent of 14 puffs, or 6 minutes. The similarity between smoking and using IQOS Terea sticks makes switching from cigarettes to IQOS one of the smoothest transitions possible. 

IQOS Terea sticks are the ideal substitute for smoking - they cost less than cigarettes and are believed to release up to 95% less harmful chemicals than those produced by a typical cigarette.*

As well as offering the user the potential for reduced risk, TEREA IQOS tobacco sticks also replicate the sensation of smoking and provide you with the same level of satisfaction, all whilst being user-friendly and convenient. They feature the same distinctive tobacco flavour too, but don’t produce ash, tar or smoke - unlike cigarettes.

Using TEREA sticks is pretty quick and easy with the new Iluma Starter Kit. Below is a brief step by step guide to help you get started.

1. Insert a Terea stick into your IQOS Iluma device, which is designed specifically for the Terea’s bladeless heating system. 
2. The device will notify you of its activation by vibrating once, indicating it’s heating up. 
3. When the device vibrates twice in a row it’s ready to use
4. Inhale from the tip of the Terea stick like you would with a traditional cigarette and enjoy the taste of authentic tobacco. 
5. The device will notify you when the session has 30 seconds remaining by vibrating twice more. 
6. Once you’re finished with it, wait for it to cool down and dispose of the used stick, as Terea sticks are single-use only.

It’s important to maintain your IQOS UK machine to keep it running smoothly as taking care of your device can help it last longer and improve your experience. Here are a few of our top tips on maintaining your heated tobacco kit and keeping it in good condition.

• Occasionally clean the holder with the provided cleaning tool to avoid buildup and ensure smooth operation. 
• Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, as this can affect performance and battery life. 
• Charge the device fully and disconnect it when the battery is at 100% to extend longevity and prevent the battery from becoming damaged. 
• Check for firmware updates if applicable, as these can enhance functionality and optimise performance.
• Keep your Terea device in a case when it’s not in use to keep it safe and secure.
