The 20ml of space makes these nicotine-ready vape juices customisable, allowing you to add nicotine to create a vape liquid with a 3mg nicotine strength (approximate). Of course, you don't have to add nicotine if you don't want to, as these zero nicotine e-liquids are ready to use right away. 

To make your Hayati shortfill into a 3mg vape liquid, all you need to do is add two 18mg strength nicotine shots (sold separately) to the bottle, and give it a good, thorough shake for up to 60 seconds.  However, if you wanted a lower nicotine strength, you could add just one 18mg nic shot for a 1.5mg strength overall.
