The VooPoo Vinci E80 is a refillable pod kit made for experienced vapers with its advanced settings and customisable options. Features include a 3000mAh built-in rechargeable battery, USB-C type charging, adjustable airflow, variable wattage and a vibrant TFT colour screen.
This compact boasts an impressive battery that can be used for extended vaping sessions, even at its maximum power output (80W). The TFT display makes adjusting your settings and keeping tabs on your battery life quick and easy, as all of the relevant information is displayed right where you need it.
The Vinci E80 by VooPoo also features their new and improved mesh-coil pods; the VooPoo E pods. These refillable cartridges come with either the 0.6Ω or 0.3Ω PnP X coils pre-installed and fixed in place, offering the choice of MTL or DTL vaping from the get-go.
The Vinci E80 succeeds where many pod kits fail by not trying to be everything to everyone whilst still offering genuine versatility. If you're moving up from basic pod systems but aren't ready for the complexity of rebuildable atomisers, this represents a sensible, and affordable, middle ground.
Battery life genuinely supports all-day use for most people, which isn't always the case with high-power pod systems. The USB-C charging is reasonably quick - expect up to about 90 minutes for a full charge from empty.
Coil longevity seems decent with the mesh options lasting 7-10 days with regular use, though this varies significantly based on e-liquid choice and power settings. The higher VG ratio vape liquids, and sweeter flavours, will reduce coil life, as expected.
To set up your Vinci E80 vape, start by removing the pod from the device and unsealing the silicon plug located towards the top of the side of the cartridge. Fill your pod using the fill-port beneath the silicon plug, being careful not to over-do it. Prime your coil by adding a few drops directly onto the mesh using the hole in the centre of the mouthpiece and wait 5-10 minutes before you use it for the first time.
Using the device isn't too difficult once you've got the hang of it - clicking the button 5 times turns the device on/off, and clicking it 3 times accesses the menu system. The user interface is also pretty simple once you've used it a few times - we'd recommend experimenting for a few minutes without the pod attached to get a feel for the different settings.
Keep the pod connection clean with occasional wiping - e-liquid residue can affect the connection quality, causing reduced vapour, as well as error messages such as 'atomiser not found' or 'no coil connected'. The airflow is adjustable, although its range is slightly limited - however, it's perfectly optimised for the intended coil range.
Replace coils/pods when flavour becomes muted or you notice reduced vapour production. Don't wait until it tastes burnt - as by then it's too late and your experience could be quite unpleasant and/or off-putting.
The Vinci VooPoo E80 can be used by beginners, yes, particularly in Smart Mode which automatically adjusts settings based on coil resistance - however, to make full use of its adjustable features and advanced settings, we'd recommend this kit to intermediate and experienced vaped.
The E80 offers higher power output than most previous Vinci devices and uses the newer PNP X coil platform. Battery capacity is also increased compared to earlier models in the range.
Expect 7-10 days with moderate use, though this varies considerably based on e-liquid composition and power settings. Sweeter liquids and higher wattages reduce coil longevity.
Yes, both freebase nicotine and nicotine salt e-liquids work fine. Higher VG ratios (70/30 or 80/20) work well with the lower resistance coils, whilst higher PG ratios suit the tighter draw coils better.
No, the 3000mAh battery is integrated and not user-replaceable. However, the capacity should provide reasonable longevity before degradation becomes noticeable.
The 0.3Ω PNP-X1 mesh coils offer excellent flavour reproduction at moderate power levels (32-40W). For tighter draws, the 0.8Ω options provide good flavour with lower power consumption.
USB-C charging takes approximately 90 minutes from empty to full, which is reasonable but not exceptional. The large battery capacity means less frequent charging overall.
Yes, Vinci E pods are very easy to get ahold of - also, the pod itself is quite durable, so you'll likely replace coils more frequently than the actual pod cartridge.
