The Voopoo Drag X3 Kit is an advanced pod kit that's able to deliver an impressive 80W output that'll satisfy even the most demanding vapers. It's built for enthusiastic sub-ohm vapers who want serious power without the bulk offered by most of the traditional box mods currently available.
One of the great things about the new Drag X3 is that it offers vapers a tonne of flexibility, from its adjustable wattage and airflow, to the fact that it can be used with either a 18650 battery (not included) or 21700 battery (not included). This means you're not locked into one style of vaping, or one type of battery.
The VooPoo Drag X3 vapes feature a power output of 5W - 80W, capable of producing thick clouds of vapour, and enough power to satisfy most vapers - especially those seeking a sub ohm device. The variable wattage system responds quickly to adjustments, thanks to VooPoo's upgraded microchip.

Supporting both 18650 and 21700 battery cells, the Drag X3 gives vapers more control over their vape kit, and more room to customise it. The 21700 option provides longer battery life - which is ideal for those who prefer to vape at 40W or higher for extended periods. The battery compartment is well-designed with strong closing mechanism that won't come loose in your pocket.
The included 2ml PnP X DTL tank uses Voopoo's latest coil technology. These coils last noticeably longer than the older PnP range, with a pack of 5 coils PnP X coils advertised as able to last for 90 days or more. The top-fill design works smoothly, though you'll want to be careful not to overfill it.
The navigation system is intuitive without being oversimplified. You can access all the important settings quickly, but there's enough depth for users who want to fine-tune their experience. The display is clear and readable, even in bright sunlight.

Getting started is straightforward - install your chosen battery (sold separately here) (positive end up), fill the tank through the top-fill port, and you're ready to go. The initial setup takes about two minutes, and the menu system is logical enough that most people won't need instructions.
For daily use, keep an eye on your coil condition. These PnP X coils will give you warning signs before they completely fail - usually a slight drop in flavour quality. Don't push them too far past this point, as burnt coils are very unpleasant.
Regular cleaning helps maintain performance. Wipe down the battery contacts monthly with a cotton bud, and rinse the tank components (EXCLUDING the coil) weekly if you're switching between different e-liquid flavours. The magnetic battery door should be cleaned occasionally to maintain that solid connection.

No, batteries are sold separately due to shipping regulations. You'll need either an 18650 or 21700 high-drain battery from a reputable manufacturer like Samsung or Sony.
The 21700 provides roughly 40% more battery life due to its larger capacity. Both fit securely, but the 21700 is the better choice for heavy users or those who don't want to carry spare batteries.
PnP X coils are competitively priced and last longer than many alternatives. Expect to replace them every 1-2 weeks depending on usage, which is standard for this type of system.
The Drag X3 is designed primarily for DTL vaping. While it technically works with higher resistance PnP X coils (0.6Ω), you'd be better served by the Drag S3 or a dedicated MTL pod kit if that is your preferred style.
With the USB-C port, charging an empty 18650 takes about 2 hours, while a 21700 needs closer to 3 hours. Using an external charger is faster and better for battery longevity.
The tank design is solid with a top-airflow system, so leaking isn't a common issue. Most leaking problems stem from overfilling or damaged O-rings, which are easily replaceabl
Most PnP X coils perform optimally between 50-70W (for the 0.15Ω or 0.2Ω options). The coil packaging includes recommended wattage ranges, and staying within these limits maximises both flavour and coil life.
Yes, any quality USB-C cable works fine. The charging circuit is well-designed and includes standard safety protections, though using the included cable is always the safest option.
