Box mod vape kits are a type of vape kit that come with a section that can be separated from the pod-tank or vape tank and used separately. They were originally called box mods as they were the modifiable part of the vape kit and were often box-shaped - although these days the shapes can vary greatly.

Disposable vape kits are a type of vape that are designed to be disposed of once they run out of e-liquid or power. Most disposable vapes, also known as single use vapes, cannot be recharged or refilled, and come with a charged battery and are prefilled with vape juice.

Sub-Ohm vape kits are vape kits that are capable of outputting a large amount of power, and have been designed for direct to lung vaping. This means that the vapour from these types of vapes is meant to be inhaled straight into the lungs, and back out again. This is different from mouth to lung vapes, which are inhaled in the same way that you’d inhale smoke from a cigarette.

Vape starter kits are vape kits with a minimal amount of settings. They’re made to be as convenient as can be with a user-friendly design that needs little, or no experience, for you to be able to use. These vape kits are intended for beginners or first time vapers as they’re so easy to use.

Most vapes will come with a device (which usually holds the battery, although if the devices uses an external battery, it is usually sold separately), as well as a pod or vape tank, and replaceable coils - although some vapes will come with a pod or two that feature built-in coils instead that cannot be removed.

It depends on where you're starting from. If you're switching from cigarettes, a pod kit or starter kit with a tight, mouth-to-lung draw will feel the most natural. The trade-off is size and complexity.
