Nordic Spirit strengths explained
One of the most common questions we get is about Nordic Spirit nicotine strengths. The range has expanded quite a bit over the years, and each level suits different types of users.
Mini (3mg) — One dot intensity. Best for light users and first-time pouch users. A gentle introduction to nicotine pouches without any harshness.
Regular (6mg) — Two dot intensity. Good for casual smokers making the switch. Noticeable nicotine delivery without being overwhelming.
Strong (9mg) — Three dot intensity. The sweet spot for regular smokers and daily pouch users. This is the strength most of our customers settle on for everyday use.
Extra Strong (11mg) — Four dot intensity. Designed for heavy smokers transitioning off cigarettes. A solid nicotine hit that satisfies without going overboard.
Ultra Strong (17mg) — Five dot intensity. Maximum nicotine for experienced users. If you've tried Strong and Extra Strong and still want more, this is the ceiling.
The jump from Regular to Strong is noticeable but not overwhelming. Where it really kicks up is the Extra Strong and Ultra Strong — if you're new to nicotine pouches, start at Regular or Strong and work from there. In our experience, most customers settle around the 9mg Strong option for everyday use.
Worth knowing: the mg rating refers to nicotine content per pouch, not per can. So a 9mg pouch delivers 9mg of nicotine total. Absorption varies depending on how long you keep it in, but most people get a good hit within the first 5-10 minutes.
Nordic Spirit flavours
Nordic Spirit keeps their flavour lineup relatively tight compared to some brands, but each one is well made. Here's what's currently available:
Mint — The classic. Clean peppermint that isn't too sweet. Available across all strengths, which is why it's by far the most popular option. If you're trying Nordic Spirit for the first time, this is the safe bet.
Spearmint — Softer and slightly sweeter than the standard Mint. Good if you find regular mint too sharp. Available in Regular, Strong and Extra Strong.
Bergamot Wildberry — This one's a bit different. Earl Grey tea meets mixed berries. It sounds odd but it works, and it's picked up a proper following. Available in Strong and Extra Strong.
Frosty Berry — Mixed berry with a cooling menthol finish. Stronger cooling sensation than the Bergamot Wildberry. Comes in Strong and Extra Strong.
Raspberry — Straightforward raspberry flavour without the menthol chill. A good fruity option if you don't want the cooling effect. Available in Strong.
Frosty Mint — Standard mint with an extra menthol kick layered on top. Noticeably colder than the regular Mint pouch. Available in Strong and Extra Strong.
Sweet Mint — Somewhere between Mint and Spearmint with a touch more sweetness. A newer addition to the lineup. Available in Strong.
If you like menthol, go Frosty Mint or Frosty Berry. If you want something more interesting, Bergamot Wildberry is the one to try.
