How do Legal Big Puff Vapes Work?

Big Puff Vapes work by using an integrated coil to heat e-liquid, turning it into vapour. Each device comes fitted with a battery (often rechargeable using a USB type-c cable), as well as a coil, and a pod or tank that’s prefilled with vape juice. These vaping devices are inhale-activated vapes, so when the user inhales on the mouthpiece the device automatically uses its battery to heat the coil, which in turn heats the liquid and produces vapour. This is the same way that regular disposable vapes and prefilled pod kits work - the only difference is that the Legal Big Puff Vape comes with more e-liquid.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Which Big Vapes Will Be Banned?

All traditional disposable vapes will be banned. Only those which are rechargeable and are either refillable, or compatible with pre-filled pods, will still be legal after the ban on single-use vapes.

How Can I Tell If My Vape Is Legal?

If your vape is rechargeable, and reusable - so it can either be refilled, or is compatible with prefilled pods - then it will be legal before and after the disposable ban comes into effect in the UK.

If your vape device can’t be recharged, or isn’t reusable, then it’s a single-use vape which will be banned when the new laws come into place.

Are Big Puff Vapes legal?

All of our big puff vaping kits are legal within the UK and comply with TPD regulations. If these vapes contain nicotine they’re limited to 2ml pods - in which case they may come with multiple prefilled pods. The nicotine in these vapes also doesn’t exceed the 20mg maximum nicotine strength - some of the vapes in our big puff selection may instead come with a 10ml e-liquid reservoir that’s attached to the vape separately, allowing them to last longer whilst remaining legal.
