Lost Mary BM6000 Review
Lost Mary are a leading brand in the vape industry who have become increasingly popular due to their huge range of disposable vapes, big vapes and vape liquids. In this review we’ll be focussing exclusively on their latest 6000 puff single-use device - the BM6000.
Design & Build
Compact Device
One of the things I like about the BM6000 is its small size. It’s big enough to fit comfortably in your hand and feels natural during use, but also small enough that it fits into pockets or bags quite easily and with little fuss - Lost Mary seems to really have thought about this device and its design before manufacturing it.
Sleek Shape
The shape of the device could be classed as boxy or rectangular, except the edges have been rounded. Whilst this makes the device more visually appealing, it does mean that you can’t stand the device up and have to rest it on its back when it’s not being used. This didn’t cause any problems, but is worth noting. Also, the mouthpiece has a nice ergonomic design which makes it comfortable to use all day long - and it’s been centralised, too.
Translucent Pod
The 10ml refill container that comes with the device is translucent, allowing you to track your e-liquid levels and keep tabs on how much you have left. However, there’s no easy way to ascertain how much e-liquid is actually in the integrated pod. I found it best to play it safe and opted to refill my BM6000 pod after every 3 - 4 hours of use.
Modern Materials
The BM6000 vape has been created using high-quality materials, as evidenced by its durability. I dropped the device a few times whilst testing it - accidentally - and it didn’t affect its performance at all. Whilst I'd still advise against dropping it, if you can help it, it shouldn’t cause any problems if you accidentally drop it or knock it over a few times.
LED Screen
The Lost Mary 6000 puffs has been fitted with a small LED screen so you can easily monitor your battery life. Unlike other disposable vapes, you don’t have to guess how much better is left based on an LED light, you get an accurate reading instead. This was really useful because I’ve had several rechargeable disposable vapes in the past which have run out of power due to the fact that you only have a vague idea of the remaining capacity because they were fitted with an RGB light instead of a screen.
Rechargeable
The BM6000 Lost Mary vapes feature a detachable 650mAh rechargeable battery - the USB Type-C charging port is located on the side of the device, although it doesn’t come with a charging cable. The fact you can recharge the vape means you can make the most of the e-liquid that comes with it and reuse the device until it runs out of liquid.
This isn’t a groundbreaking feature - but what makes it so special is the battery can be removed, allowing you to recycle the device properly. This makes the BM6000 disposables much more eco-friendly than other, similar, brands of disposable vape.
User-Friendly
I found the Lost Mary BM6000 vapes really easy to set up, with each one taking around a minute overall. There’s no buttons to mess around with or settings to overcomplicate it - just slot in the refill container, turn the device upside down until no new bubbles appear in the e-liquid container, and it’s ready to go! It’s perfect for those who are new to vaping or looking for a straightforward vape with no mess and no maintenance.
Performance
Flavour
You might not be surprised to hear that the flavour from these devices is phenomenal. I don’t know if it’s the new 1.1Ω mesh coil or the quality of the nicotine salt vape juice, or a mix of both - but the strength of the flavour is unbelievable. If you’re a fan of strong flavours i’d highly recommend the Lost Mary BM6000 vapes for this alone.
Vapour Production
The vapour was really smooth, from my first inhale, to my last - which all due to the quality of the Lost Mary nic salt e-liquid within. The throat hit was gentle, but satisfying and the amount of vapour was perfect for MTL vaping. I wouldn’t recommend this for those who prefer airier sub-ohm vapes, as the power and airflow aren’t suited to this. However, if you prefer a mouth-to-lung style vape accompanied by strong flavour and strong nicotine, then I’d suggest giving it a go.
Lost Mary BM6000 Flavour Review
Blueberry Sour Raspberry
The Blueberry Sour Raspberry Lost Mary BM6000 is a mix between sweet blueberries and slightly sour juicy raspberries.
This is the first Lost Mary BM6000 flavour I tried, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The blueberry takes a step back, whilst providing a sweet fruity base, and allows the raspberry to take over. The blueberry is definitely noticeable, but the raspberry is front and centre in this flavour. It has a very, very slight sourness to it, but overall I’d say this flavour is sweeter than it is sour.
Lemon Lime
The Lemon and Lime Lost Mary BM6000 is a classic combination of light and zesty lemon, paired with a touch of tangy lime.
Although the lemon and lime BM6000 wasn’t the second disposable I tried, it was definitely my second favourite! It might seem unadventurous to some, but sometimes it’s the familiar flavours that we love the most. This is another blend where one of the fruits takes centre stage, and in this case it’s the lemon - it’s not overbearing though. The lemon offers a sweet burst of citrus, whilst the lime backs it up with a slight tart taste that balances it out. This is a great flavour for those who want something a little more neutral.
Watermelon Ice
The Watermelon Ice Lost Mary BM6000 is a cool mix of melon, finished off with a frosty blast of ice for a crisp cooling sensation.
My third favourite BM6000 vape was the watermelon ice flavour. Thai was a really refreshing blend, with a good balance between the watermelon and the ‘ice’. It was very fruity with a strong, authentic tasting watermelon that was paired up with a frigid finish that helped tone down the sweetness. If you’re a fan of watermelon, this is definitely the BM6000 flavour for you.
Menthol
The Menthol Lost Mary BM6000 is a top-contender with its slightly minty menthol flavour, followed by a clean, crisp coolness.
The menthol flavour was a nice change of pace after having tried so many sweet and fruity flavours. It offers a really fresh, clean taste with just a touch of mint and a bracing blast of iciness. This isn’t an overpowering flavour by any means, but it's certainly strong enough to make you want to keep picking it up and puffing away.
Pineapple Ice
The Pineapple Ice Lost Mary BM6000 is a tasty tropical treat blending the essence of fruity, exotic, pineapple with a soothing cool feeling.
The Pineapple Ice is the last of my top 5 BM6000 flavours, and it’s easy to see why it’s made it into the 5 best. In my opinion, pineapple flavours are a bit like marmite - you either love them or you hate them. I’ve tried some which taste just like cheap pineapple juice - they’re sickly, overwhelmingly sweet and leave a foul taste in your mouth. This isn’t the case with the BM6000 Pineapple Ice, though!
It’s a delightful mix of fresh pineapple, complete with the slightly tropical tangy taste, fixed with a chilly ice feel. This combination creates a cool concoction that reminds me a little of sipping on an iced cocktail whilst sitting in the sun.
Pros & Cons
Despite the BM6000 disposable vapes being some of the best in the UK, there’s no such thing as a perfect vape. So whilst there are a whole host of advantages to using this device, there are also a few drawbacks. See below for a list of pros and cons.
Pros
- You can detach and remove the battery which makes the device more eco-friendly and easier to recycle.
- It comes prefilled with 10ml of free e-liquid so you don’t have to buy vape juice separately.
- It’s very user-friendly and easy to use and set up.
- There’s a huge variety of different flavours to choose from with 16 in total so far.
- The battery lasted all day, and you can keep track of it using the OLED display screen.
- It’s rechargeable and lasts for days, offering up to 6000 puffs.
Cons
- The flavours might be a little bit too sweet for some people.
- You can’t customise the power or airflow
Conclusion
Overall I really enjoyed the Lost Mary BM6000 disposables, and the downsides I've pointed out feel a little like nitpicking. The flavour is amazing, there’s a huge selection for you to choose from and the vapour production and general performance is top-notch. Although I prefer a lower nicotine strength personally, I would definitely buy a Lost Mary BM6000 rechargeable vape for when I’m on a night out - especially as they’re only £8.95 each, making them really affordable. I got one those for the first time and the first day it tasted very nice, second day it already tasted burnt, even with the liquid in full and battery charged full. I wouldn’t recommend and not buying it again
