The brand and what it actually is
Cuba is manufactured by Pafex, a Polish company that also produces Iceberg nicotine pouches. Both brands operate at the extreme end of the nicotine pouch market, though with different identities. Iceberg leans into cooling sensation as a defining characteristic. Cuba is more direct — the strength is the main event, with flavour playing a supporting role.
The 43mg per pouch figure places Cuba in the extreme category by any reasonable measure. Most mainstream brands sit between 6mg and 14mg. The extra-strong brands like Killa sit around 16mg. Cuba's 43mg is more than double that.
The format is slim, all-white and tobacco-free. No tobacco leaf, no combustion products. Nicotine is extracted from tobacco plants but the finished pouch contains none of the tobacco material itself. That makes it smoke-free, spit-free, and suitable for situations where smoking or vaping isn't practical.
The Cuba name is branding. The product is entirely Polish. If you've come across it described as Cuban-inspired or connected to Cuban tobacco heritage, that's not accurate — there's no such connection.
