A. Heated tobacco is a type of tobacco that whilst still made from real tobacco leaves, has been designed to be gradually heated rather than burned. Gently heating the tobacco instead of combusting it reduces the levels of harmful chemicals present whilst also preventing tar, ash or smoke from being generated; this makes heated tobacco a more convenient method of obtaining nicotine than smoking as there’s no lingering smell and minimal mess involved.
